Yea it's Maddie again. Today was her first day of kindergarten. She had a good time and the teacher said she was a joy to have in class. I wonder if she was talking about the right kid. Maddie yelled at me both before class and after for trying to take her 1st day of school pictures, so we have none of those. Chloe cried when we left Maddie because she wanted to stay to! Later, as I was leaving to pick her up from school, the UPS driver brought my studio lights. So we played a little this evening.
As always, a great shot by you. The sense of innocency is always there in your shots, it's almost as if you can just capture it perfectly and open the window to a childs soul. I love kids, and I love the fact they don't know much because they have a lot to learn. They'll learn things that aren't so wonderful but they have so much to look forward to in their lives. Your photography captures that sense of innocency and learning so well.
I love the slight colouration of the eyes, it really looks beautiful. I'm not sure if anybody actually noticed that or not, or maybe my eyes are just playing tricks on me, but I'm sure they're slightly coloured a brown colour. It gives it a real focal point and the eyes are always the best place in portrait photography. They do say that the eyes are the window to our souls, no? Wonderful work. A definate favourite. It's made me feel very warm and makes me want to head off and cuddle my neice.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
